| How to post your own event for FREE: | |
| Step 1: | Register at the site. It's free, but you must be registered to post an event and agree to our terms of use. |
| Step 2: | After completing registration select "add a listing" or "post". |
| Step 3: | Select the most appropriate category for your event. |
| Step 4: | Enter all of your event details - don't forget to set the Listing Duration (first field) so that your listing will last at least until your event takes place. Click Next. |
| Step 5: | Upload a photo (optional unless you want to have your listing "featured" - featured listings require a photo.) Click Next . |
| Step 6: | Review your listing for typos and accuracy of information. If you need to make changes click "edit detail" at the bottom of the page. If you wish to change the photo, click "edit photo." If it looks okay, click Next. |
| Step 7: | This is the page where you have the opportunity to upgrade your listing. Featured listings not only get more exposure since they show at the top of the home page, they also help support this site. If you don't wish to upgrade, click the Calculate Total button. |
| Step 8: | If the total order is $0, click the "approve order" button and your event will post. You will receive a confirmation email saying that your event has been successfully posted. If you do not receive this email - check to see if your event shows. If it does, you may have made a mistake in entering your email information. Log into your account and correct your email address. If your event does not show, you did not complete all steps of the posting process. Log in and see if your listing has been saved in your account and complete the process. If it's not saved in your account, you will have to list it again. |
| If your order is greater than $0,click the "approve order" button and you will be taken to 2CheckOut.com to complete your payment information on a secure server and your event will post after payment has been approved. | |
