Join the New England Chapter of the PKD Foundation, JAM’N 94.5,Mary Richardson of Caritas Hospital and Kathy Curran of WBZ at our signature fundraising event, the 10th annual Boston Walk for PKD. Walk the picturesque 2.5 mile stroll along the Charles River while you fundraise an increase awareness of this devastating disease. PKD is one of the most common life- threatening hereditary diseases, affecting one in five hundred people worldwide. PKD causes cysts to grow and multiply within the kidneys, progressively diminishing the kidneys’ function until the body becomes poisoned with its own toxins. Each person who raises $100 or more will earn a tee shirt. The more you raise the better the prize you qualify for! . This is a fundraising event! Walk rain or shine! Parking is free but carpooling is suggested.
